    • Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania on economic cooperation, signed on 4 June 2007
    • Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Government of the
    • Republic of Albania on the avoidance of double taxation in the area of taxes on incomes and wealth, signed on 5 March 1993
    • Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Government of the Republic of Albania on the Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investments, signed on 5 March 1993

    • Agreement between Ministry of Agriculture and Food Economy of the Republic of Poland and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Albania on economic and scientific-technological cooperation in the field of agriculture and food industry, signed on 30 September 1994

    The basic tasks: working on the further development of  bilateral economic cooperation, identifying problems and their solutions.

    DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION

     

     

    • 2014: Embassy of Republic of Poland, in cooperation with the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin and with the Social Center Don Bosko in Tirana, completed the project on “Implementation of the Polish model of education of autistic children”. It is already the third project implemented by the Polish Embassy in Tirana within the framework of the Polish Development Aid in the field of education for disabled persons in Albania. It contributes to securing fundamental rights of intellectually disabled children, like general education at an elementary level, their integration within peer groups and the society. It is an expression of Poland’s support for Albania’s efforts in the field of integrating with the EU and of adopting European standards in this sphere.
    • 2013: Embassy of Republic of Poland, in cooperation with the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin and with the Social Center Don Bosco in Tirana, completed the project on „Introducing the Polish model of Occupational Therapy Workshop into Albanian settings”. The project was implemented within the framework of the Polish development aid program. The aim of the project was to protect the fundamental rights of mentally disabled children and young people providing primary education and help to get integrated in society. The project confirms Poland 's support for Albania's aspirations for EU integration through the implementation of Polish know-how in the field of health, education and social inclusion of children and young people with varying degrees of disability.
    • 2012: the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, in collaboration with the Highest Mining Authority in Katowice, completed the development assistance grant on "training in the field of emergency in mining and environmental protection.The aim of training in Poland of 12 experts in mining emergency was to help in the creation of modern and efficient structures for supervision and training of inspectors and experts in emergency and environmental protection in the mining industry.
    • 2010:  the Embassy of Republic of Poland, in cooperation with the Silesia Social Centre and with the Social Center in Tirana Don Bosco, completed the project on "Training of occupational therapists for persons with mental disabilities in Albania". The project was aimed at training people with mental disabilities in Albania and organizing workshops for them. Some of the Albanian volunteers trained within the framework of the project, took later further courses in Poland on social works.
